The Government's Vision

Confronted with today’s complex development challenges the Government of Cameroon calls for the seamless integration of democratic governance, economic recovery, crisis prevention and peace-building interventions
The Government aims at rapid restoration of development pathways to build resilience and development in the NW/SW regions
The Government intends to restore social cohesion, provide communities with livelihood opportunities and increase access to basic services needs in the NW/SW regions
Finally, through the PPRD, the ambition of the government of Cameroon is to bring about long-term transformational change.

Our Objective

The Plan aims at a rapid restoration of pathways to build resilience and development in the NW/SW Regions and also to build back better innovatively .

PPRD Pillars

Under the supervision of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction of and Development the Northwest and Southwest Regions of Cameroon (PPRD-NW/SW) aims at implementing projects in the North West and South West Regions, focusing on the following Pillars:

Rehabilitation and development of basic infrastructure
Economic revitalization
Promotion of social cohesion
